Apple has been known to update products annually so it’s no surprise that a lot of people have been speculating an IPad announcement to come in late February or Early March. Apple recently confirmed these rumors and said they would be announcing the release date of the brand new IPad 3 on March 7, 2012. So far we don’t know a whole lot about Apple’s new Ipad 3. Photos that were leaked are speculated to be photos of an earlier prototype or something of the sort of an IPad 3 (you can find those photos here.) If you were to compare these parts to the IPad 2 you would notice that the profile is a little bit thicker, the battery itself is bigger so hopefully this means longer battery life and a higher resolution camera of course. According to Technology Blog the IPad 3 will be sporting double the resolution of it’s predecessor which will provide extreme high quality display. This would mean the IPad would have to be about a millimeter thicker. They also speculate that the IPad 3 will be power by a new A6 chip (IPad 2 is power by the A5) and according to the verge this chip [...]

They also speculate that the IPad 3 will be power by a new A6 chip (IPad 2 is power by the A5) and according to the verge this chip will be dual core, not quad core like many others are stating.

It seems like everyone is getting in on this product because Wallstreet also has news on Apple’s new product! They’re saying the new ipad will have LTE compatibility! If this is something they’re doing it will be in effect for the Verizon and AT&T networks. Wallstreet also believes that apple is in the works of creating an IPad with a smaller screen, but to me that just sounds like an IPod. Maybe soon we’ll be seeing a mix of the two.

That’s all the information we have for now REMEMBER these are all speculations and shouldn’t be treated as facts until Apple themselves confirms these things! Stay tuned on March 7th we will be updating as apple announces more on the IPad 3
